All cattle selling in catalogue sale (excluding calves at side and steers) must be registered Texas Longhorns.
Fees for selling in the catalogue portion of sale will be as follows:

Catalog and sales fee - $250.00 (includes picture & yardage) plus 7% commission and transfer.
- Fee for pair split in ring will be an additional $150.00 plus transfer or registration (includes yardage.) This refers to a cow with large nursing calf at side at least six months of age. IT WILL BE NECESSARY THAT YOU MAKE THIS DECISION BEFORE THE CATALOG GOES TO THE PRINTER AS WE WILL NOT SPLIT ANY PAIRS UNLESS IT IS LISTED AS SPLIT PAIR IN THE CATALOG.
- 2 in 1 (2 yearling heifers selling together for 2 times the dollar amount bid) will be an additional $150.00 plus transfer (includes pictures of both animals and yardage.)
- Photograph – A photo is required on all animals and is included in the consignment fee. This should be a good photo that will represent your animal well. A poor photo will be a disadvantage. Animals should be photographed with the head up and in a good position. NO POLAROIDS. Please submit photos as soon as possible. (ALL COLOR CATALOG)
- All consignors must furnish a SEPARATE health certificate for each lot consigned. The health certificates are valid for 30 days from date of issue. Each health certificate should have the animal clearly identified by private herd number and name. Please do not identify the animals by the long number on the metal ear clip if you are selling in the catalogue portion of the sale.
- All female animals 18 months of age and over and bulls 12 months of age and over must be tested negative for brucellosis not more than 30 days prior to sale. Steers do not require a brucellosis test.
- All female cattle between 4 and 12 months of age should be officially calfhood vaccinated.
- All animals 12 months of age and over are required to have a negative tuberculosis test not more than 30 days prior to sale. Also any animal being split from mother on sale day will require this test.
The terms and conditions in the catalog state that all test eligible sold will have a 30-day negative Brucellosis and TB test. REMEMBER…WE ARE TESTING THESE ANIMALS NOT ONLY FOR ENTRY INTO KANSAS BUT ALSO TO BE SHIPPED OUT OF KANSAS TO AS MANY AS 35 DIFFERENT STATES.
We will send you a sample format to be used for your health certificates. The health certificates should be brought to the sale when you check in your cattle on Friday before the sale.
All guarantees are between seller and buyer. Mike and Debbie Bowman and or Winfield Livestock Auction are not responsible for any accident that might occur to you or your animals.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MARCH 5, 2008 IN ORDER THAT YOUR ANIMALS BE CATALOGUED AND SOLD.

NON CATALOGUED CATTLE AND STEER SALE
Commission is a straight 7% with a $25.00 pass out fee, should you elect to pass out your animal plus $6.00 per day yardage. These animals will require a health certificate the same as the registered sale however you may not be able to identify them with a private herd number or name, but identify by some other means. Females and bulls will follow the same requirements as the catalogued cattle. Steers do not require test but do require a health certificate. We will not accept steers that have been previously roped. They must be fresh roping cattle. There will be no limit to the number of bulls each consignor sells in this portion of sale.
